Shannon was terrific, working under a challenging situation—conducting a long-distance Facetime inventory, working to clarify and classify a decidedly disorganized estate, overseeing careful packing of vintage concert posters and music memorabilia, as well as personal belongings going into storage after a long-time friend's move to a nursing home. She never made assumptions but checked with me as to identifications and such, and made sure everything was clearly catalogued. And she also made sure that when the materials were moved into the storage unit, they were organized for easy access. Lots of photos as well, to make things even clearer. Well, it finally happened: A big move forced me to deal with my storage unit! I had a mix of *stuff* ranging from old furniture to art supplies–my own items and my late mother's–and it was nearly impossible to make a dent on my own. Between Jennifer's truly outstanding organizational skills and the help of a small crew to move heavy items (and remove the things I needed to part with), my 10×22' nightmare became a manageable space in three hours! We don’t recommend planning your move much earlier as circumstances could change, meaning you would have to reschedule with certain vendors. If you try to schedule your move later, you’ll risk rushing and adding excess pressure to what’s already an inherently stressful process.

Managing your move means coordinating and overseeing vendors as well as downsizing and organizing your current space to make unpacking and settling in as easy as possible.

Our move managers will work with you to inventory all your personal items, identify what needs to go, what needs to stay, what needs to be securely discarded, and label everything for easy and safe transportation to your new home.
