For our move we engaged Potomac Concierge to help us stage our home for potential buyers and packing our possessions. Since we are moving from a four-bedroom house to a two-bedroom apartment, we had to downsize which meant de-cluttering some of our possessions. Someone said that the top three stressful events in a life are death, divorce, and moving. The Potomac Concierge team did a fabulous job at every stage of our move. They were competent, professional, efficient, and knowledgeable and, in addition reduced our stress to a very manageable level. They quickly identified those possessions that were not to be shown to potential buyers and those that we should consider discarding but showed sensitivity to our emotional attachments to some items. When it came time to packing, the team quickly and thoroughly did it, including labeling the boxes so we could find where our possessions were after we arrived at our new residence. We do not know how we could have so successfully moved without the support of Potomac Concierge and highly recommend using them for any relocation

I am so thankfully I was able to work with Jamee for 9 months last year as I was preparing to relocate to Massachusetts. I have a lot of stuff and it was a disorganized mess. Jamee was great to work with. She was very patient and non judgemental. We got so much done each visit! She helped me get rid of trash and donations. She hooked me up with green Drop in Friendship Heights and inspired me to do some donations even on days I was not working with her. I don't know how I could have handle getting ready for the move without her. Now that I am in Massachusetts, I wish I could find someone even 10% as great to help me get settled in. I am so happy that I found Potomac Concierge! About 1/2 of the way through a whole-house renovation, I hit a wall. We had so much "stuff" to get out of the house, decide what to keep, and how to dispose of what we weren't keeping. It was overwhelming and I was stuck! While researching the many home auction and estate sale options, I stumbled onto the Potomac Concierge website and immediately liked their approach to beig an assistant in all things remodel management and home organization. I booked a free consultation call with Libby Kinkead and she was not only emphathetic, but so incredibly helpful in sharing insights about charitable donations and the stuff we wanted to get rid of. Libby set me up with Audrey Mulholland and it was like having a white knight ride in! Audrey has a wonderful demeanor, is professional but warm, understands how to gently prod to keep me on track (as in "is that piece really keeping to the feel you are going for?"), jumps in to do anything, keeps moving things along when a subcontractor pulls me away, and always helps balance the stress by encouraging me to see the progress, not the mess. Audrey's expertise in furniture and clothing consignment and donation enabled me to sell so much rather than just give it away. Forget the "Kondo Method" — the process with Audrey is as effective and, even better, it's fun because she becomes a friend. I'm still working with Audrey until we can put away the last pot and hang the last shirt. I can't recommend Audrey and Potomac Concierge strongly enough and am grateful that they do what they do!

They unloaded and opened all of the decorations (after marking them according to rooms last year) and did an amazing job helping me make everything beautiful. I literally could not have stayed in my home during the pandemic nor gotten my house ready to sell without Kelly’s outstanding assistance. Kelly had a solution to every problem and always was calm while addressing any challenge. I think of Kelly as my guardian angel. Kristin also was essential during the process of packing up my house belongings and moving into my new apartment. As an example of the special care they gave to my china cup collection, Kelly took photographs of the secretary and display case in which the cups were displayed and then she and Kristin unpacked the cups and put them back in the identical order. I am eternally grateful to both of them.

My wife and I recently used Potomac Concierge to take some of the stress and legwork out of our recent move from Alexandria, VA to New York City. Susan, our concierge, was a pleasure to work with. She is a consummate professional, and helped us make coordinating our movers and storage units a breeze! She also helped line up a PO Box in our new city and get the house clean and ready for our new tenants. Susan even found time in her schedule to help with our packing!! One word of caution: we had a very unpleasant experience working with the cleaners they scheduled (Your Cleaning Connection- they were terrible and a nightmare to work with). Potomac and Susan did everything they could on our behalf to get the company to honor the job, even offering to come out and supervise the cleaning. Every other service, particularly the movers (JK movers), that they recommended were exceptional. As said, the cleaners must have been a blip and Potomac again could not have been more wonderful working on our behalf. We would never have survived this move without this gem of a company. We half joke that they are the only reason our marriage weathered this move. Susan is without a doubt the most lovely and professional person, and the owners are also wonderful and incredibly communicative. We can not recommend this company enough. If you are moving, especially if it is an involved job, hire Potomac. They will change your life.

I can’t say enough good things about Potomac Concierge! I reached out to Aida about help with a big move (two houses into one) and she replied immediately. Her team took care of coordinating with the movers, handling no parking signs and ALLLLL the packing and unpacking. (They even did thoughtful things, such as reach out to neighbors.) I can’t tell you what a relief it is to be moved in and have every box out of the house within 24 hours – and to have everything thoughtfully organized and put away.
