Potomac Concierge recently helped us move my father out of his home of more than a half-century and across the country to a senior living community. This was, as you can imagine, a complex and stressful undertaking, and they handled it all with patience, experitse, and thoughtfulness. Libby was very effective in getting the project off the ground–setting expectations, understanding our needs, getting to grips with the particular situation. This took a bit, but once we were going she found the right solutions to our situation. In particular she assigned Dana to our case. I can't recommend her highly enough. We literally could not have done it without her. She went out of her way to make this easier for my father, and for the rest of us, who live relatively far away. I had quite a lot of travel during and after Thanksgiving, and needed some support with holiday decor. Kelly and Kristin truly made this Christmas the best ever. This duo is remarkable. They unloaded and opened all of the decorations (after marking them according to rooms last year) and did an amazing job helping me make everything beautiful. I literally could not have stayed in my home during the pandemic nor gotten my house ready to sell without Kelly’s outstanding assistance. Kelly had a solution to every problem and always was calm while addressing any challenge. I think of Kelly as my guardian angel. Kristin also was essential during the process of packing up my house belongings and moving into my new apartment. As an example of the special care they gave to my china cup collection, Kelly took photographs of the secretary and display case in which the cups were displayed and then she and Kristin unpacked the cups and put them back in the identical order. Shannon was terrific, working under a challenging situation—conducting a long-distance Facetime inventory, working to clarify and classify a decidedly disorganized estate, overseeing careful packing of vintage concert posters and music memorabilia, as well as personal belongings going into storage after a long-time friend's move to a nursing home. She never made assumptions but checked with me as to identifications and such, and made sure everything was clearly catalogued. And she also made sure that when the materials were moved into the storage unit, they were organized for easy access. Lots of photos as well, to make things even clearer.
