Libby was the Manager in getting a house ready for the market. It had been lived in for about 50 years and needed a variety of services. She had an amazing team of workmen and was able to empty the home, fix several items and make it look refreshed. All with quick response and professionalism. Very impressive work.

I had the Power of Attorney for a retired Foreign Service Officer who had been living in a retirement home for the last seven years. He owned a lovely one-bedroom apartment in Georgetown which had remained empty during that time. Since I worked full-time and travelled frequently, I did not have the time to clean out the apartment and prepare it for sale. I hired Potomac Concierge, and specifically, Janet, to prepare the apartment for sale by removing all the furniture, clothes, books, and anything of value and then staging it. Janet and her colleagues cleaned the apartment, arranged for auctioning the valuable pieces, replaced the carpeting with hardwood floors, repaired the windows, arranged for painting of the entire apartment, and arranged for distribution and donation of remaining items to the proper organizations. They also cleaned and removed all items in the storage room. All of this was accomplished within a month with very few calls to me. The staff, and particularly Janet, did an outstanding job. They are very professional, have access to good contractors, and removed a terrific burden from me.

Vicki was amazing to work with and helped me accomplish exactly what I needed in the short time frame I had! Vicki was amazing. We live out of town and needed to close up a rental apartment in MD without traveling because of COVID. Vicki had assisted us last year when we moved out a townhouse and into this apartment. She is so efficient and detail oriented that the job went flawlessly. We were on FaceTime and I could tell her what was to be donated, what was going to a storage unit, etc. She meticulously labeled all of the boxes so when I can get to the storage unit I will know where everything is. As we worked together she reminded me of the Energizer bunny!!!!! She is also a wonderful person who makes it obviously that she loves what she does. Potomac Concierge recently helped us move my father out of his home of more than a half-century and across the country to a senior living community. This was, as you can imagine, a complex and stressful undertaking, and they handled it all with patience, experitse, and thoughtfulness. I am a single, heavy set Business Owner with crazy work hours and no support system (at least not any that I would burden). I had just bought my first home after living in an apartment for over 20 years. I needed to furnish my entire new house and have a number of repairs done. So I was looking at having to make a sizable amount of purchases, schedule deliveries and installations, all which required supervision in the midst of keeping the money coming in with work. Quite frankly, I had no idea how I was going to get all these done. Enter Potomac Concierge Service’s Kim Thompson and Debbie Parrillo to the rescue. On Day-1 when I met them at my house in Falls Church for a consultation, it was so cold in the house because the furnace had decided to go belly up that we couldn’t take our coats off. It was nearly unbearable to conduct this initial meeting. Not only did they stay, but Debbie had someone come out a fix and service the furnace the very next day. The ink was barely dry on my contract with them, and they were already taking care of my needs. Not only is Kim’s taste and style worthy of her own Bravo TV show, but her ability to find just the right piece and resolve space constraints is near Sunday morning church inspirational. The first time I walked in the house after she initially staged it, I couldn’t stop smiling for days! The Cable TV installer was not only late but took forever to arrive; I’m talking way past normal business hours. I was stuck at work trying to get a client deliverable out and couldn’t be there. Kim not only stayed ridiculously late for this person to come and complete the installation. She kept me apprised via text through the whole ordeal. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Just recently after she had already supervised and staged all of the initial furniture buys to make my house look like an amazing magazine ad, her attention to detail, diligence, and coordination skills successfully juggled several equipment upgrades, multiple deliveries, and a landscape consultation all in one day. I’m talking scratch it off checklist, done. Potomac Concierge not only has these two extremely capable professionals to directly assist my me as their client. Their network of trusted vendors and contractors to do the work is such an added-value to the support they have provided. Seriously their Rolodex easily rivals Angie’s List and the quality to date has been superb. So far throughout my entire experience with them, I have not had to make a single phone call to arrange for any third party services. Kim and Debbie have done all the leg work, leaving me free to concentrate on work and my normal life. Shannon was terrific, working under a challenging situation—conducting a long-distance Facetime inventory, working to clarify and classify a decidedly disorganized estate, overseeing careful packing of vintage concert posters and music memorabilia, as well as personal belongings going into storage after a long-time friend's move to a nursing home. She never made assumptions but checked with me as to identifications and such, and made sure everything was clearly catalogued. And she also made sure that when the materials were moved into the storage unit, they were organized for easy access. Lots of photos as well, to make things even clearer. An amazing job all around I'm truly thankful for her partnership in this difficult time.

Having Cheryl at Potomac Concierge Services as my post move concierge was a huge relief. She took care of everything from arranging for someone to sell items I didn't want, donation of clothing and furniture and disposing of the remaining "junk."
