I am a single, heavy set Business Owner with crazy work hours and no support system (at least not any that I would burden). I had just bought my first home after living in an apartment for over 20 years. I needed to furnish my entire new house and have a number of repairs done. So I was looking at having to make a sizable amount of purchases, schedule deliveries and installations, all which required supervision in the midst of keeping the money coming in with work. Quite frankly, I had no idea how I was going to get all these done. Enter Potomac Concierge Service’s Kim Thompson and Debbie Parrillo to the rescue. On Day-1 when I met them at my house in Falls Church for a consultation, it was so cold in the house because the furnace had decided to go belly up that we couldn’t take our coats off. It was nearly unbearable to conduct this initial meeting. Not only did they stay, but Debbie had someone come out a fix and service the furnace the very next day. The ink was barely dry on my contract with them, and they were already taking care of my needs. Not only is Kim’s taste and style worthy of her own Bravo TV show, but her ability to find just the right piece and resolve space constraints is near Sunday morning church inspirational. The first time I walked in the house after she initially staged it, I couldn’t stop smiling for days! The Cable TV installer was not only late but took forever to arrive; I’m talking way past normal business hours. I was stuck at work trying to get a client deliverable out and couldn’t be there. Kim not only stayed ridiculously late for this person to come and complete the installation. She kept me apprised via text through the whole ordeal. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Just recently after she had already supervised and staged all of the initial furniture buys to make my house look like an amazing magazine ad, her attention to detail, diligence, and coordination skills successfully juggled several equipment upgrades, multiple deliveries, and a landscape consultation all in one day. I’m talking scratch it off checklist, done. Potomac Concierge not only has these two extremely capable professionals to directly assist my me as their client. Their network of trusted vendors and contractors to do the work is such an added-value to the support they have provided. Seriously their Rolodex easily rivals Angie’s List and the quality to date has been superb. So far throughout my entire experience with them, I have not had to make a single phone call to arrange for any third party services. Kim and Debbie have done all the leg work, leaving me free to concentrate on work and my normal life. And I truly can’t begin to articulate through words how stress-free my life has been since contracting Potomac Concierge. Seriously my Partners at work only know that I’m in the middle of a home move because I’ve told them it’s happening and the fact that I act like-a-kid on Christmas morning when I provide them with updates. Thanks to Potomac Concierge Services, I’m about a week away of completing Phase I, getting the new home ready for me to move in. I had a move in October with a lot of moving parts and I could not have done it without Joyce, Aida and the team at Potomac Concierge. It's the first move I've had when I didn't think twice about the logistics or the sequence of events – I left that all up to them. We had a flawless move, from a furnished rental and two large storage units into a newly renovated townhouse in Dupont Circle, and all of the management and parking permits and junk pick-up that that entailed. Having Cheryl at Potomac Concierge Services as my post move concierge was a huge relief. She took care of everything from arranging for someone to sell items I didn't want, donation of clothing and furniture and disposing of the remaining "junk." She swept the house leaving it just as the buyers wanted for the final walk-through, and to boot she returned our Verizon equipment. We hired Potomac Concierge to help pack several rooms before a major home renovation. Amelia, Shannon and the representative from the moving company were all incredible. They arrived right on time and were friendly, organized, thorough and accommodating. They finished in record time and we would absolutely use them again.

All of the women I worked with from Potomac Concierge (Cheryl, Vikki, Trish) were not only helpful, organized, energetic and focused, but they were also not afraid to get their hands dirty to get the job done. And they did it all with a sense of humor, warmth and the wisdom that comes only from experience. They efficiently helped me move out of my house, including sorting and cleaning most of my belongings, and move into a rental house after experiencing an environmental disaster in our home. I would use them time and again. I highly recommend their services.

Vanessa, Kelly, and Kristen were absolutely outstanding. In addition to their excellent service and skills, I felt incredibly supported by them during a difficult time. You can hire anyone to unpack boxes, but they brought such skill, thought, and care to the organizing process. By the end of the day, the rental house was feeling like a home for my family, all thanks to them. They were truly a joy to work with, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Coleen and Amelia were so delightful for to work with. They were on time, professional and very supportive on my helping me make sense of my move. They took their time to ensure my needs were met and I am definitely satisfied with their working. I had a last minute cable appointment and was searching late Friday for someone to come complete a task on Monday. Time was of the essence! Potomac Concierge was able to accommodate a last minute request and had my task assigned within a couple of hours. I work in furnished housing and in this industry, you have to have reliable people on the ground as I am often far away from all my set ups. Vicki showed up on time and completed the task perfectly in every way. I had to give her very little direction and she even did a few extra things that made it complete for me. I would for sure use Potomac Concierge in the future. I am very pleased with the level of service they provided.

I have had many clients that have particular needs. Potomac Concierge has been my first and only call with any need outside my scope of work. Decluttering, Retirement downsizing, errands, organization, personal assisting…. I am not easily impressed, every time it is the same service that exceeds my clients expectations. It is the only call you should make.

This is the second time I have used Potomac Concierge. Everything they do is superb. The most important and helpful thing is not what they do but HOW they do it, they project manage everything so well it brings you complete peace of mind. I suffered a serious knee injury in June 2016 that required two surgeries and months of physical therapy, and my doctor advised me to move to a single-level home to avoid having to climb stairs, and potentially injure my knee again. I was finally able to move in December 2016. As I sat in my new apartment that first night, unable to walk unassisted, I looked around me and saw about 30 boxes stacked up in piles upon each other, creating a wall four feet thick against one wall. I quickly came to the conclusion there was no way a disabled person like me was capable of doing ANYTHING by myself – like find which box contained bed sheets and blankets and make a bed that first night, much less open every box, one by one, and store food, clothing, electronics, and arrange furniture. Not with one hand holding on to a cane. Fortunately, I had insisted that my computer be hooked up in advance of the move. I Googled the words "home organizers" and came across Potomac Concierge – a professional home organization company. Within 48 hours, three of the loveliest women in the world – Coleen, Sandi and Anne were knocking on my door. I didn't have to tell them what to do. They looked around and KNEW what had to be done. They spent the entire day quickly opening box after box, arranging ALL of my belongings based on what room they needed to be in, creating a pile of items that I wanted to donate to a charity, throwing out things I no longer had use for, storing other belongings in a storage locker, running errands for me to nearby stores, and hauling about 50 pounds of empty cardboard boxes to the recycling room down the hall. Just to give you one example of the quality of their work – they balled up all my socks and rolled up underwear, and neatly arranged them in neat little rows in dresser drawers, folded and stacked all my shorts and shirts, and hung up all my tee-shirts and pants. And Anne even came back on two more days, finalizing things and putting the finishing touches on what turned out to be the most organized home I had ever lived in. I cannot describe how much stress was lifted from me and how relieved I felt a few days later to look around my apartment – knowing exactly where to find everything I owned. I cannot thank these ladies enough for what to me was a relatively inexpensive and swift way to get settled into a new home. My advice to anyone out there who is planning to move and wants to avoid a lot of the headache involved in relocating – call Potomac Concierge. You will never regret it !

I used Potomac Concierge to help organize a newly installed closet system. I wanted to start off with a highly organized closet – color coded, by season and style. Vicki came in fully equipped with supplies and ideas. We went through my items, sorted, hung, folded – the result was a beautiful closet that looks like something from a magazine. I did underestimate how much time it would take to get everything done (even though Vicki worked quickly and efficiently) but I was also happy that I participated along with her because it gave me an understanding on how to keep it organized which is ultimately my main goal. I would highly recommend Potomac Concierge for organizing services. They were very professional, prompt and exceeded my expectations for this project.

I have to tell you how wonderful and incredible both Rachel and Dana were in getting our attic, basement, and tool shed in ship-shape order!  They're both amazingly efficient, hard-working, energetic, and very nice!  Both my husband and I appreciated their taking charge of the mess at our house.  It will really help make our lives so much cleaner and easier.
