Well, it finally happened: A big move forced me to deal with my storage unit! I had a mix of *stuff* ranging from old furniture to art supplies–my own items and my late mother's–and it was nearly impossible to make a dent on my own. Between Jennifer's truly outstanding organizational skills and the help of a small crew to move heavy items (and remove the things I needed to part with), my 10×22' nightmare became a manageable space in three hours! I would go so far as to say that it was a genuinely fun morning–which is especially impressive given the sheer emotional weight of going through a parent's personal effects. I cannot possibly say enough good things about Jennifer's mix of practical skills and personal sensitivity. I recommend Potomac Concierge without hesitation–personable and professional!

We highly recommend Potomac Concierge – a top notch business!!! Last year, we sold our home in McLean, VA and prepared to rent locally. A friend recommended Potomac Concierge and we worked with Aida Middel during a time of unknowns– where we would move, what we would do… Aida was helpful in suggesting what we needed at the rental… what could be stored, and what we should not keep. She was professional, cooperative, and considerate as we sifted through belongings making decisions. We appreciated suggestions vs. being asked what to do. She helped with packing and even with marking furniture placement when we found a rental. She also recommended a professional moving company, JK moving. A year later, we prepared to move out of state. We call on Aida and PC and we were grateful and fortunate to work with Jamee Whittan. Jamee is fantastic! We immediately connected on what needed to be done and, again, Jamee did not wait for guidance – she assessed the situation after a walk-through and formed a “game plan!” This efficiency reduced the stress enough so that I felt at ease to focus on work and other tasks. Jamee was very friendly and patient and listened as we sorted through the priorities and next steps. She remembered details of our schedule (including packing for my husband who was taking boxes to FL in advance of JK moving). Jamee was very helpful in setting the schedule for future visits. Once she had a schedule conflict and she immediately arranged for Kristen O’Brien to help. I appreciated that since I had blocked the time in advance. Kristen was equally friendly, efficient, professional, and patient!!!. I called for help during a very busy time but PC went “the extra mile!” It was a pleasure to work with Jamee and Kristen and I trusted them both. We simply didn't have enough time to coordinate all aspects of the move AND continue to work – and we were grateful that Aida, Jamee, and Kristen stepped in to help. We appreciated their patience and kind approach to an otherwise stressful situation. We still felt stress related to the move, but not with Jamee and Kristen! I assumed I would help with packing (!) but they had confidence in their approach and took initiative to get things done, leaving me to work on other tasks. They communicated well during the process to ensure we were always on the same page. They were both so very easy to get along with and they managed to get so much done each day while creating a calm environment. Truly 5-star service!

Vicki came to reorganize two of my closets and had everything done within 3 hours! We tossed very few items and yet by the end I had gained back a lot of space in the closets.

What a great experience! I had Kelly and Marley help me with unpacking and putting things away in my new apartment right after a move in, including setting up the kitchen and master bedroom, among other tasks. They were terrific–experts at what they do, and very kind and patient with me during a very challenging moving week. I learned some great things from them about how to make my new space work best for me. I would not hesitate to work with Potomac Concierge on other home space planning projects and I recommend them highly!

Coleen and Amelia were so delightful for to work with. They were on time, professional and very supportive on my helping me make sense of my move. I hired Potomac Concierge to help my parents after they downsized from their home in NH and settled in a retirement community in MD. Helen did a wonderful job communicating what she accomplished after every meeting with my parents…from helping with online accounts, auto-pay set-up and scheduling, decluttering email & cancelling old accounts, to creating a shared family calendar and prioritizing tasks for my parents to complete, the dependable schedule we set up with Helen was invaluable in reassuring my brother and I, as we both live in other states. My parents loved working with her too 🙂 So happy I found this personal assistant service in the DC metro area!!

We hired Potomac Concierge to help pack several rooms before a major home renovation. Amelia, Shannon and the representative from the moving company were all incredible. I literally could not have stayed in my home during the pandemic nor gotten my house ready to sell without Kelly’s outstanding assistance. Kelly had a solution to every problem and always was calm while addressing any challenge. I think of Kelly as my guardian angel. Kristin also was essential during the process of packing up my house belongings and moving into my new apartment. As an example of the special care they gave to my china cup collection, Kelly took photographs of the secretary and display case in which the cups were displayed and then she and Kristin unpacked the cups and put them back in the identical order. I am eternally grateful to both of them.

For our move we engaged Potomac Concierge to help us stage our home for potential buyers and packing our possessions. Since we are moving from a four-bedroom house to a two-bedroom apartment, we had to downsize which meant de-cluttering some of our possessions. Someone said that the top three stressful events in a life are death, divorce, and moving. The Potomac Concierge team did a fabulous job at every stage of our move. They were competent, professional, efficient, and knowledgeable and, in addition reduced our stress to a very manageable level. They quickly identified those possessions that were not to be shown to potential buyers and those that we should consider discarding but showed sensitivity to our emotional attachments to some items. When it came time to packing, the team quickly and thoroughly did it, including labeling the boxes so we could find where our possessions were after we arrived at our new residence. We do not know how we could have so successfully moved without the support of Potomac Concierge and highly recommend using them for any relocation

I had quite a lot of travel during and after Thanksgiving, and needed some support with holiday decor. Kelly and Kristin truly made this Christmas the best ever. This duo is remarkable. They unloaded and opened all of the decorations (after marking them according to rooms last year) and did an amazing job helping me make everything beautiful. They wrapped presents like they should appear in the next Nutcracker. Positive, productive, professional and punctual; I love everything they created and every effort they made. When they come to my home, I know it will be lovelier when they go. I could not be more appreciate and grateful for this team!

Libby was the Manager in getting a house ready for the market. It had been lived in for about 50 years and needed a variety of services. She had an amazing team of workmen and was able to empty the home, fix several items and make it look refreshed. All with quick response and professionalism. Very impressive work.

I cannot recommend Potomac Concierge highly enough. We hired them to help organize our kitchen in our new home and Rachel and Michelle were an absolute dream team. They worked efficiently and asked really smart questions to help me figure out where things should go in our unusually shaped space. I have to tell you how wonderful and incredible both Rachel and Dana were in getting our attic, basement, and tool shed in ship-shape order!  They're both amazingly efficient, hard-working, energetic, and very nice!  Both my husband and I appreciated their taking charge of the mess at our house.  It will really help make our lives so much cleaner and easier. Using Potomac Concierge Services has been a game changer and amazing for our family! They helped us prepare for a move to temporary locations in preparation for a house renovation. Robin and team were incredible/terrific/great! They helped us declutter our house before we moved, helped coordinate the move, helped pack and unpack into our new temporary spaces! They thought of all the details that I would have forgotten. And, they also supported during the stressful moments.
