Potomac Concierge did a beautiful job this summer on the substantial renovation of my condominium in Adams Morgan. I live a three-hour drive from Washington, and I literally could not have done it without them. Actually, they did it all and I was left with the fun part of picking out styles and colors. The work on my condo was extensive – updating a bathroom (new vanity, flooring, drywall repair, etc.), bead board and new flooring in the utility area, a new garbage disposal, oriental rug cleaning, new windows with new granite sills, and 15 years' worth (!) of handyman jobs. Because Potomac Concierge is a group of intelligent self-starters, I really could (and did) leave everything to them. After one personal meeting to discuss my "wish list", communication was by email at my convenience. The stress of renovation, in my opinion, is due to difficulty in scheduling and quality control issues. All of this was borne by Potomac Concierge. I told them that when I saw the finished project, I felt like the women on HGTV who start crying at the "reveal". I do not write reviews, as a rule, but because I found Potomac Concierge on the internet, and took a leap of faith, I feel a responsibility to anyone else out there who is looking for help. You cannot go wrong if you hire them!

Well, it finally happened: A big move forced me to deal with my storage unit! I had a mix of *stuff* ranging from old furniture to art supplies–my own items and my late mother's–and it was nearly impossible to make a dent on my own. Between Jennifer's truly outstanding organizational skills and the help of a small crew to move heavy items (and remove the things I needed to part with), my 10×22' nightmare became a manageable space in three hours! I would go so far as to say that it was a genuinely fun morning–which is especially impressive given the sheer emotional weight of going through a parent's personal effects. I cannot possibly say enough good things about Jennifer's mix of practical skills and personal sensitivity. I recommend Potomac Concierge without hesitation–personable and professional!

Potomac Concierge is the best money we have spent. Aida, Libby and the team were incredibly professional, organized and no ask was too much for them to handle with grace and speed. We hired them to assist with our move out of our home and into a new home. We could not have done it without them. They know how to get things done, they hire all of the right people. We spent the first night in our new home with our bedroom, kitchen, and closets completely unpacked and organized. They are simply the best.

All of the women I worked with from Potomac Concierge (Cheryl, Vikki, Trish) were not only helpful, organized, energetic and focused, but they were also not afraid to get their hands dirty to get the job done. And they did it all with a sense of humor, warmth and the wisdom that comes only from experience. They efficiently helped me move out of my house, including sorting and cleaning most of my belongings, and move into a rental house after experiencing an environmental disaster in our home. The ladies of Potomac Concierge were a godsend. We moved to our new house in McLean with two little kids running around and no help, overwhelmed with the prospect of unpacking. Aida and her colleagues not only unpacked everything – from the children's toys, kitchen stuff, bathroom stuff… everything – but they organized it all an a super logical and efficient way. They even helped us get rid of boxes and did other little things to make the moving experience as painless as possible. We are so grateful. We would use their services again in a heartbeat.

I am so happy that I found Potomac Concierge! About 1/2 of the way through a whole-house renovation, I hit a wall. We had so much "stuff" to get out of the house, decide what to keep, and how to dispose of what we weren't keeping. It was overwhelming and I was stuck! While researching the many home auction and estate sale options, I stumbled onto the Potomac Concierge website and immediately liked their approach to beig an assistant in all things remodel management and home organization. I booked a free consultation call with Libby Kinkead and she was not only emphathetic, but so incredibly helpful in sharing insights about charitable donations and the stuff we wanted to get rid of. Libby set me up with Audrey Mulholland and it was like having a white knight ride in! Audrey has a wonderful demeanor, is professional but warm, understands how to gently prod to keep me on track (as in "is that piece really keeping to the feel you are going for?"), jumps in to do anything, keeps moving things along when a subcontractor pulls me away, and always helps balance the stress by encouraging me to see the progress, not the mess. Audrey's expertise in furniture and clothing consignment and donation enabled me to sell so much rather than just give it away. Forget the "Kondo Method" — the process with Audrey is as effective and, even better, it's fun because she becomes a friend. I'm still working with Audrey until we can put away the last pot and hang the last shirt. I can't recommend Audrey and Potomac Concierge strongly enough and am grateful that they do what they do!

I used Potomac Concierge to help dissolve an estate and prepare the property for sale. Their efficient and caring management of the many logistics, as well as great attention to details I would not have thought of, was invaluable to my family during a very difficult time. All recommended service providers, movers and contractors were also first rate. I recommend the Potomac Concierge team very highly and hope to be able use their services again under more pleasant circumstances.

I cannot recommend Potomac Concierge highly enough. We hired them to help organize our kitchen in our new home and Rachel and Michelle were an absolute dream team. They worked efficiently and asked really smart questions to help me figure out where things should go in our unusually shaped space. By the time they left, we were easily 80% done with our kitchen and I'm already scoping out new projects to hire them for again. We have had such a wonderful experience working with Potomac Concierge helping us to check off those random to-do's we never quite get to. There is no task they can't tackle and everything is always done is such a professional and timely manner.

I suffered a serious knee injury in June 2016 that required two surgeries and months of physical therapy, and my doctor advised me to move to a single-level home to avoid having to climb stairs, and potentially injure my knee again. I was finally able to move in December 2016. As I sat in my new apartment that first night, unable to walk unassisted, I looked around me and saw about 30 boxes stacked up in piles upon each other, creating a wall four feet thick against one wall. I quickly came to the conclusion there was no way a disabled person like me was capable of doing ANYTHING by myself – like find which box contained bed sheets and blankets and make a bed that first night, much less open every box, one by one, and store food, clothing, electronics, and arrange furniture. Not with one hand holding on to a cane. Fortunately, I had insisted that my computer be hooked up in advance of the move. I Googled the words "home organizers" and came across Potomac Concierge – a professional home organization company. Within 48 hours, three of the loveliest women in the world – Coleen, Sandi and Anne were knocking on my door. I didn't have to tell them what to do. They looked around and KNEW what had to be done. They spent the entire day quickly opening box after box, arranging ALL of my belongings based on what room they needed to be in, creating a pile of items that I wanted to donate to a charity, throwing out things I no longer had use for, storing other belongings in a storage locker, running errands for me to nearby stores, and hauling about 50 pounds of empty cardboard boxes to the recycling room down the hall. Just to give you one example of the quality of their work – they balled up all my socks and rolled up underwear, and neatly arranged them in neat little rows in dresser drawers, folded and stacked all my shorts and shirts, and hung up all my tee-shirts and pants. And Anne even came back on two more days, finalizing things and putting the finishing touches on what turned out to be the most organized home I had ever lived in. I cannot describe how much stress was lifted from me and how relieved I felt a few days later to look around my apartment – knowing exactly where to find everything I owned. I cannot thank these ladies enough for what to me was a relatively inexpensive and swift way to get settled into a new home. My advice to anyone out there who is planning to move and wants to avoid a lot of the headache involved in relocating – call Potomac Concierge. You will never regret it !

I have to tell you how wonderful and incredible both Rachel and Dana were in getting our attic, basement, and tool shed in ship-shape order!  They're both amazingly efficient, hard-working, energetic, and very nice!  Both my husband and I appreciated their taking charge of the mess at our house.  It will really help make our lives so much cleaner and easier. Lauren was also great in helping set everything up and was very responsive with ideas and help. I can highly recommend Potomac Concierge!

I literally could not have stayed in my home during the pandemic nor gotten my house ready to sell without Kelly’s outstanding assistance. Kelly had a solution to every problem and always was calm while addressing any challenge. I think of Kelly as my guardian angel. Kristin also was essential during the process of packing up my house belongings and moving into my new apartment. As an example of the special care they gave to my china cup collection, Kelly took photographs of the secretary and display case in which the cups were displayed and then she and Kristin unpacked the cups and put them back in the identical order. Prior to the COVID pandemic, I commuted to Washington, D.C. each week for work. Since March 2019, my business travel has been limited, but I continue to maintain an apartment in D.C. I've had the pleasure to work with Kelly W., as she has managed cable/WiFi installation, furniture delivery, coordinating the delivery of packages, etc. She is friendly and professional, and flawlessly manages any task, no matter how complex. Kelly W. has taken a big source of stress out of my life and comes with my highest recommendation.

Libby, Shannon and Claire helped me move with very little notice. I thought I could do everything myself, but got too busy with work. They had less than two weeks notice and made it happen. Not only am I unpacked, but all of the boxes are gone and my kitchen is better organized than if I had done it myself. They are extremely professional and pleasant to work with and would definitely use them again!!! I’ve never felt in better hands.

I had quite a lot of travel during and after Thanksgiving, and needed some support with holiday decor. Kelly and Kristin truly made this Christmas the best ever. This duo is remarkable. They unloaded and opened all of the decorations (after marking them according to rooms last year) and did an amazing job helping me make everything beautiful. They wrapped presents like they should appear in the next Nutcracker. Positive, productive, professional and punctual; I love everything they created and every effort they made. When they come to my home, I know it will be lovelier when they go. I could not be more appreciate and grateful for this team!

Aida and her staff were incredibly professional and helpful. Our son had left the DC area during Covid and then while he was away needed to move out of his apartment. We highly recommend Potomac Concierge – a top notch business!!! Last year, we sold our home in McLean, VA and prepared to rent locally. A friend recommended Potomac Concierge and we worked with Aida Middel during a time of unknowns– where we would move, what we would do… Aida was helpful in suggesting what we needed at the rental… what could be stored, and what we should not keep. She was professional, cooperative, and considerate as we sifted through belongings making decisions. We appreciated suggestions vs. being asked what to do. She helped with packing and even with marking furniture placement when we found a rental. She also recommended a professional moving company, JK moving. A year later, we prepared to move out of state. We call on Aida and PC and we were grateful and fortunate to work with Jamee Whittan. Jamee is fantastic! We immediately connected on what needed to be done and, again, Jamee did not wait for guidance – she assessed the situation after a walk-through and formed a “game plan!” This efficiency reduced the stress enough so that I felt at ease to focus on work and other tasks. Jamee was very friendly and patient and listened as we sorted through the priorities and next steps. She remembered details of our schedule (including packing for my husband who was taking boxes to FL in advance of JK moving). Jamee was very helpful in setting the schedule for future visits. Once she had a schedule conflict and she immediately arranged for Kristen O’Brien to help. I appreciated that since I had blocked the time in advance. Kristen was equally friendly, efficient, professional, and patient!!!. I called for help during a very busy time but PC went “the extra mile!” It was a pleasure to work with Jamee and Kristen and I trusted them both. We simply didn't have enough time to coordinate all aspects of the move AND continue to work – and we were grateful that Aida, Jamee, and Kristen stepped in to help. We appreciated their patience and kind approach to an otherwise stressful situation. We still felt stress related to the move, but not with Jamee and Kristen! I assumed I would help with packing (!) but they had confidence in their approach and took initiative to get things done, leaving me to work on other tasks. They communicated well during the process to ensure we were always on the same page. They were both so very easy to get along with and they managed to get so much done each day while creating a calm environment. Truly 5-star service!
