Prior to the COVID pandemic, I commuted to Washington, D.C. each week for work. Since March 2019, my business travel has been limited, but I continue to maintain an apartment in D.C. I've had the pleasure to work with Kelly W., as she has managed cable/WiFi installation, furniture delivery, coordinating the delivery of packages, etc. She is friendly and professional, and flawlessly manages any task, no matter how complex. Kelly W. has taken a big source of stress out of my life and comes with my highest recommendation.

Aida and her team were amazing! With everyone home during COVID-19 we needed more space. Luckily we found a great house but then It dawned on me, we had to move. Luckily our realtor was able to recommend Potomac Concierge a turnkey and contactless(if you opt for that) company that takes care of every detail of your move. After 1 phone call with Aida I felt the stress and pressure of the move melt away. Timeline, logistics, packing, unpacking, organizing of our home and much more. Great attention to details. I have had many clients that have particular needs. Potomac Concierge has been my first and only call with any need outside my scope of work. Decluttering, Retirement downsizing, errands, organization, personal assisting…. I am not easily impressed, every time it is the same service that exceeds my clients expectations. It is the only call you should make.

I am so happy that I found Potomac Concierge! About 1/2 of the way through a whole-house renovation, I hit a wall. We had so much "stuff" to get out of the house, decide what to keep, and how to dispose of what we weren't keeping. It was overwhelming and I was stuck! While researching the many home auction and estate sale options, I stumbled onto the Potomac Concierge website and immediately liked their approach to beig an assistant in all things remodel management and home organization. I booked a free consultation call with Libby Kinkead and she was not only emphathetic, but so incredibly helpful in sharing insights about charitable donations and the stuff we wanted to get rid of. Libby set me up with Audrey Mulholland and it was like having a white knight ride in! Audrey has a wonderful demeanor, is professional but warm, understands how to gently prod to keep me on track (as in "is that piece really keeping to the feel you are going for?"), jumps in to do anything, keeps moving things along when a subcontractor pulls me away, and always helps balance the stress by encouraging me to see the progress, not the mess. Audrey's expertise in furniture and clothing consignment and donation enabled me to sell so much rather than just give it away. Forget the "Kondo Method" — the process with Audrey is as effective and, even better, it's fun because she becomes a friend. I'm still working with Audrey until we can put away the last pot and hang the last shirt. I can't recommend Audrey and Potomac Concierge strongly enough and am grateful that they do what they do!

I used Potomac Concierge for my recent move from MD to NC. I am very pleased with their service. From arranging a mover to getting my condo cleaned out, everything went smoothly. I highly recommend them.

Libby, Shannon and Claire helped me move with very little notice. I thought I could do everything myself, but got too busy with work. They had less than two weeks notice and made it happen. Not only am I unpacked, but all of the boxes are gone and my kitchen is better organized than if I had done it myself. They are extremely professional and pleasant to work with and would definitely use them again!!! I’ve never felt in better hands.

Potomac Concierge recently helped us move my father out of his home of more than a half-century and across the country to a senior living community. This was, as you can imagine, a complex and stressful undertaking, and they handled it all with patience, experitse, and thoughtfulness. Libby was very effective in getting the project off the ground–setting expectations, understanding our needs, getting to grips with the particular situation. This took a bit, but once we were going she found the right solutions to our situation. In particular she assigned Dana to our case. I can't recommend her highly enough. We literally could not have done it without her. She went out of her way to make this easier for my father, and for the rest of us, who live relatively far away. She made a difficult process seem almost simple–a model of organization, clarity, and empathy for us in a hard transition for all of us. Thanks to Dana, to Libby, and to Lauren for making this work. You can hire anyone to unpack boxes, but they brought such skill, thought, and care to the organizing process. By the end of the day, the rental house was feeling like a home for my family, all thanks to them. They were truly a joy to work with, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

What a great experience! I had Kelly and Marley help me with unpacking and putting things away in my new apartment right after a move in, including setting up the kitchen and master bedroom, among other tasks. They were terrific–experts at what they do, and very kind and patient with me during a very challenging moving week. I cannot say enough good things about this company. I hired them to help me with my downsizing and move from Potomac Maryland to Falls Church Virginia. I would not have been able to continue to work full time and manage all of this by myself. From the moment I spoke with the owner, Libby Kinkead, I knew that I was in good hands. She linked me with Cheryl McGinnis who is a godsend. After I told her what I needed, she essentially took over. She interviewed movers for me and negotiated a very fair price with the one I chose (who I also highly recommend; Commonwealth Movers with Lionel's team). She was able to be present for Greendrop, the company I hired to come and look at a very large donation and also was there when Purple Heart came to take things away. Throughout, she was knowledgable, professional and extremely supportive. She even managed the final item after I physically moved out; having the leftover "junk" taken away by a company she recommended. Even after the move was complete, I contacted Cheryl to help me with an issue with my new home. It required foundation work that was to be done by a structural engineering company. Unfortunately, the company is terrible at communicating with their clients. Somehow, she worked her magic and was able to get through to the right people, and the job is almost done. I will absolutely use them again and would be happy to speak with anyone who is considering hiring them. Thank you again Libby and Cheryl!!!

Vicki and Dionne Were Magnificent! We decided to renovate our kitchen immediately AND prepare to begin a great big new job right around the same time. This meant a move from the city where the prior job was located, into the basement of our home, and then reorganizing our home after the renovation. These ladies made it all happen and did so with an excellence that was unmatched. I came home one day and my kitchen was packed, stacked, and labeled. What's more, a fully equipped mini-kitchen was set up in my basement. We lived there for months and had EVERYTHING we needed. Then, when the kitchen was done, they lined drawers, organized and unpacked. It was a thing of beauty. The movers arrived and these ladies went to work. They sorted, organized, and purged until all closets and cabinets were beautifully set. I hired Potomac Concierge to help my parents after they downsized from their home in NH and settled in a retirement community in MD. Helen did a wonderful job communicating what she accomplished after every meeting with my parents…from helping with online accounts, auto-pay set-up and scheduling, decluttering email & cancelling old accounts, to creating a shared family calendar and prioritizing tasks for my parents to complete, the dependable schedule we set up with Helen was invaluable in reassuring my brother and I, as we both live in other states.
