Potomac Concierge did a beautiful job this summer on the substantial renovation of my condominium in Adams Morgan. I live a three-hour drive from Washington, and I literally could not have done it without them. Actually, they did it all and I was left with the fun part of picking out styles and colors. The work on my condo was extensive – updating a bathroom (new vanity, flooring, drywall repair, etc.), bead board and new flooring in the utility area, a new garbage disposal, oriental rug cleaning, new windows with new granite sills, and 15 years' worth (!) of handyman jobs. Because Potomac Concierge is a group of intelligent self-starters, I really could (and did) leave everything to them. After one personal meeting to discuss my "wish list", communication was by email at my convenience. The stress of renovation, in my opinion, is due to difficulty in scheduling and quality control issues. All of this was borne by Potomac Concierge. I told them that when I saw the finished project, I felt like the women on HGTV who start crying at the "reveal". I do not write reviews, as a rule, but because I found Potomac Concierge on the internet, and took a leap of faith, I feel a responsibility to anyone else out there who is looking for help. You cannot go wrong if you hire them!

I am so very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Libby Kinkead. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, helpful, inspiring, and kind-hearted! The truth is I've read a lot about getting organized (which is a whole lot easier than actually being organized!) But after a recent class with Libby, I shifted into "get it done" mode. I called Potomac Concierge Services (PCS) a few weeks back, frantically needing help to get our house de-cluttered and ready to put on the market for sale before the end of the month. The rub was that we had three days to get it done before I had to leave on a 5 day business trip! Aida and her excellent staff, which included Audrey, Dionne & Susan whisked in and saved the day! They helped us purge, de-clutter and organize, all in record time. This was no small feat considering that my husband and I merged two households during our previous move without the benefit of a purge. Add five years and two kids to the mix and you can imagine the task we were facing. To say we felt overwhelmed was an understatement! But, the PCS staff immediately put our minds at ease. They had great suggestions and tips to get the work done efficiently and they were a joy to work with. Without question, I would recommend the services of PCS to all of my friends and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future!

I cannot recommend Potomac Concierge highly enough. We hired them to help organize our kitchen in our new home and Rachel and Michelle were an absolute dream team. They worked efficiently and asked really smart questions to help me figure out where things should go in our unusually shaped space. By the time they left, we were easily 80% done with our kitchen and I'm already scoping out new projects to hire them for again. I have to tell you how wonderful and incredible both Rachel and Dana were in getting our attic, basement, and tool shed in ship-shape order!  They're both amazingly efficient, hard-working, energetic, and very nice!  Both my husband and I appreciated their taking charge of the mess at our house.  It will really help make our lives so much cleaner and easier. Lauren was also great in helping set everything up and was very responsive with ideas and help. I can highly recommend Potomac Concierge!

Potomac Concierge (Vicki and Coleen) helped me with a complex down-sizing/organization project. They were absolutely incredible in creating a plan, sorting, packing, storing, labeling etc, items from disorganization to full accessible organization. I was amazed and so grateful. Having Cheryl at Potomac Concierge Services as my post move concierge was a huge relief. She took care of everything from arranging for someone to sell items I didn't want, donation of clothing and furniture and disposing of the remaining "junk." She swept the house leaving it just as the buyers wanted for the final walk-through, and to boot she returned our Verizon equipment. I had quite a lot of travel during and after Thanksgiving, and needed some support with holiday decor. Kelly and Kristin truly made this Christmas the best ever. This duo is remarkable. They unloaded and opened all of the decorations (after marking them according to rooms last year) and did an amazing job helping me make everything beautiful. They wrapped presents like they should appear in the next Nutcracker. Positive, productive, professional and punctual; I love everything they created and every effort they made. When they come to my home, I know it will be lovelier when they go. I could not be more appreciate and grateful for this team!

I am a single, heavy set Business Owner with crazy work hours and no support system (at least not any that I would burden). I had just bought my first home after living in an apartment for over 20 years. I needed to furnish my entire new house and have a number of repairs done. So I was looking at having to make a sizable amount of purchases, schedule deliveries and installations, all which required supervision in the midst of keeping the money coming in with work. Quite frankly, I had no idea how I was going to get all these done. Enter Potomac Concierge Service’s Kim Thompson and Debbie Parrillo to the rescue. On Day-1 when I met them at my house in Falls Church for a consultation, it was so cold in the house because the furnace had decided to go belly up that we couldn’t take our coats off. It was nearly unbearable to conduct this initial meeting. Not only did they stay, but Debbie had someone come out a fix and service the furnace the very next day. The ink was barely dry on my contract with them, and they were already taking care of my needs. Not only is Kim’s taste and style worthy of her own Bravo TV show, but her ability to find just the right piece and resolve space constraints is near Sunday morning church inspirational. The first time I walked in the house after she initially staged it, I couldn’t stop smiling for days! The Cable TV installer was not only late but took forever to arrive; I’m talking way past normal business hours. I was stuck at work trying to get a client deliverable out and couldn’t be there. Kim not only stayed ridiculously late for this person to come and complete the installation. She kept me apprised via text through the whole ordeal. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Just recently after she had already supervised and staged all of the initial furniture buys to make my house look like an amazing magazine ad, her attention to detail, diligence, and coordination skills successfully juggled several equipment upgrades, multiple deliveries, and a landscape consultation all in one day. I’m talking scratch it off checklist, done. Potomac Concierge not only has these two extremely capable professionals to directly assist my me as their client. Their network of trusted vendors and contractors to do the work is such an added-value to the support they have provided. Seriously their Rolodex easily rivals Angie’s List and the quality to date has been superb. So far throughout my entire experience with them, I have not had to make a single phone call to arrange for any third party services. Kim and Debbie have done all the leg work, leaving me free to concentrate on work and my normal life. And I truly can’t begin to articulate through words how stress-free my life has been since contracting Potomac Concierge. Seriously my Partners at work only know that I’m in the middle of a home move because I’ve told them it’s happening and the fact that I act like-a-kid on Christmas morning when I provide them with updates. Thanks to Potomac Concierge Services, I’m about a week away of completing Phase I, getting the new home ready for me to move in. Phase II will be emptying out my apartment and getting it ready to hand it back over to my landlords after 22 years. Can you guess who I’ve contracted to help me with Phase II? My wife and I recently used Potomac Concierge to take some of the stress and legwork out of our recent move from Alexandria, VA to New York City. Susan, our concierge, was a pleasure to work with. She is a consummate professional, and helped us make coordinating our movers and storage units a breeze! She also helped line up a PO Box in our new city and get the house clean and ready for our new tenants. Susan even found time in her schedule to help with our packing!! One word of caution: we had a very unpleasant experience working with the cleaners they scheduled (Your Cleaning Connection- they were terrible and a nightmare to work with). Potomac and Susan did everything they could on our behalf to get the company to honor the job, even offering to come out and supervise the cleaning. Every other service, particularly the movers (JK movers), that they recommended were exceptional. As said, the cleaners must have been a blip and Potomac again could not have been more wonderful working on our behalf. We would never have survived this move without this gem of a company. We half joke that they are the only reason our marriage weathered this move. Susan is without a doubt the most lovely and professional person, and the owners are also wonderful and incredibly communicative. We can not recommend this company enough. If you are moving, especially if it is an involved job, hire Potomac. They will change your life.

What a great experience! I had Kelly and Marley help me with unpacking and putting things away in my new apartment right after a move in, including setting up the kitchen and master bedroom, among other tasks. They were terrific–experts at what they do, and very kind and patient with me during a very challenging moving week. I learned some great things from them about how to make my new space work best for me. I would not hesitate to work with Potomac Concierge on other home space planning projects and I recommend them highly!
